Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Our client, a private grantmaking organization, is looking for an Administrative Assistant /Receptionist to join their NYC Office team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, can multitask and can take initiative in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site in Midtown Manhattan 4 days per week with Flexibility on Fridays.

POSITION: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
LOCATION: Midtown, Manhattan
HOURS: 8am – 6pm (4 days in office and 1 day (Friday) remote)
COMPENSATION: 60k-80k base + robust benefits
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED: Preferred
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant / Receptionist:
-Maintain reception and kitchen areas, conference rooms, printer areas, and meeting spaces
-Assist with general administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, and research
-Greet visitors, answer phone calls, manage visitor access, coordinate, and prepare conference rooms for meetings, assist with and provide hospitality in a dynamic office environment of ~20 employees
-Provide administrative support to program staff by managing calendars and on-site meeting spaces, communicating with external partners, arranging travel, and coordinating catering and materials for in-office meetings and events
-Support ad-hoc projects to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements of the Administrative Assistant / Receptionist:
-2+ years in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a professional or high-net-worth environment. Recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Interpersonal skills with a hospitality mindset
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
-Awareness of the Jewish philanthropic space is a plus
-Verifications of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
