Our client, a New York-based family office, is seeking an Administrative/Personal Assistant to join their team. Efficiency, adeptness, and flexibility are key. Responsibilities of the Administrative/Personal Assistant:
-Manage Principal’s inbox with confidentiality and strong organizational skills
-Initially handle forwarded emails, transitioning to full inbox access over time
-Keep the Principal’s calendar updated and coordinate schedules with the family office
-Liaise Principal’s board positions at the New Museum and the Met
-Assist with event planning, including logistics and execution
-Shop for and send gifts as needed
-Run personal errands for the Principal
-Assist with any administrative tasks as needed
-Ad hoc projects
Requirements of the Administrative/Personal Assistant:
-1–2 years of administrative/personal assistant experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Strong attention to detail, particularly when filling out forms and meeting deadlines
-Flexibility to adapt to changing weekly needs based on Principal’s schedule and travel plans
-Excellent communication skills
-Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
-Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
-Proactive, motivated, and “can do” attitude
-Willingness to go above and beyond
