LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown, Manhattan) In-office Monday – Thursday & WFH Friday
HOURS: 9am – 6pm plus flexibility/accessibility as needed
COMPENSATION: Up to $150K* DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a leading advisory firm, is seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Communications Associate with exceptional attention to detail to join their Marketing Communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to manage and execute our communications strategy, enhancing the firm’s brand, and fostering strong relationships with media and spokespeople.
Key Responsibilities of the Associate/VP of Communications:
-Media Relations
• Plan, pitch and coordinate media interviews for investment bankers and respond to incoming media inquiries
• Research and secure speaking engagements
-Content Creation and Editing
• Draft press releases, media pitches and internal communications and assist with podcast development
-PR Amplification
• Collaborate closely with other team members to promote public appearances, media coverage and reports
-Administration
• Manage and expand media database
• Assist with media monitoring, tracking and reporting for the team
Requirements of the Associate/VP of Communications:
-Bachelor's degree required. Preference for Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations
-5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or related role
-Experience or knowledge of investment banking or other professional services field a plus
-Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills
-Knowledge of media monitoring tools and databases
-Excellent organizational and project management skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
-Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
