Executive Assistant with light Office Management duties
Our client, a financial services/tax advisory firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant with light office management duties to support the Founder. This role will have light personal assistant and office manager duties. The ideal candidate will have a no task too small attitude, impeccable organizational skills, and be willing to go the extra mile. POSITION: Executive Assistant with light Office Management duties
LOCATION: New York, NY
HOURS: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
SALARY: $85-130k
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED?: Preferred
*This is an in-office position Monday - Friday*
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Dynamic, high-volume scheduling: Proactively manage the calendar, anticipate, and resolve any scheduling conflicts or overlaps
- Liaise with internal and external contacts on behalf of the team
- This role will require the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while multitasking and demonstrating forward thinking
- Strategic thinking and judgment: Consider requests and goals with prioritization and balance in mind
- Answer phones, greet guests, and maintain the office
- Stay ahead of the Founder with regards to his schedule and communicate changes, overall needs
- Light personal duties (dinner reservations, airline reservations)
Requirements of the Executive Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience
- Upbeat and warm demeanor a plus
- Comfortable with a small office
- Tech savvy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and great organizational skills
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility
- Must enjoy a client servicing type environment
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Verifications of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
