Position Description: Our client was founded in 1991 and has raised over $80 billion of capital, and currently has ~$115 billion of AUM.
The Analyst for the Hotel Asset Management Team will be based in Greenwich, CT with the possibility to work on occasion out of the firm’s NYC office. The Analyst will focus primarily on supporting all strategic asset management initiatives related to the private select-service hotel REIT portfolio. The portfolio currently consists of 174 hotels

Responsibilities:
- Analyze portfolio performance and monitor key performance indicators across various loan pools, managers, and brands
- Model complex cash flows and partnership structures to report asset performance and prepare quarterly valuations for the firm's executive team and investors
- Act as a portfolio manager for the fund helping make key decisions for loan maturities, capital deployment, asset level hold/sell recommendations, etc.
- Conduct monthly P&L reviews to identify key trends and coordinate with management partners to identify operational opportunities and collectively determine successful action plans
- Assist in the development of monthly/quarterly reporting, including presentations and investment summaries, for executive team and investors
- Support senior asset managers in all aspects of disposition and financing/re-financing including working with brokers, lenders, and negotiating key documents with potential buyers
- Maintain excellent knowledge of local hotel markets, including competitor information, recent transactions, and supply pipeline
- Collaborate with internal and external design and construction teams to execute on hotel renovations and capital projects
- Build productive working relationships with various brokers, lenders, vendors, consultants, brand representatives, etc
- Travel, domestically to visit real estate assets, companies and key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years relevant experience, including: real estate acquisitions, asset management, construction management/budgeting, operations, or finance (Hospitality experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Development and/or real estate cash flow modeling experience
- Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint)
- Strong understanding of hotel Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business or related area
- A true self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
- Authorization to work in the United State
