HR Manager

Our client, a UK based Investment Firm is seeking an HR Manager for their satellite office based in Chelsea. This individual will work closely with the Firm's Head of HR and wider global team to take ownership of HR strategies and practices in the USA.

Salary 150k-175k base DOE plus bonus eligible plus benefits 

• Develop strategic relations with partners and employees across the business to advise on all HR related matters 
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes 
• Responsible for Learning and Development initiatives, including oversight of the firm’s annual summer internship programme in the New York office 
• Effectively coach and support management through any HR issues 
• Maintain and implement new policies and procedures, keeping abreast of legal and regulatory updates 
• Assist with immigration related processes including employee Green Card sponsorship 
• Responsible for managing and administering employee remuneration and benefits 
• Implement the HR framework for any new  entities and offices in the US 
• Successfully promote and engage employees in the culture with social events and other initiatives 

Candidate profile: 

• ~5 years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally at an investment manager 
• In depth knowledge of US labor laws, ideally across multiple states 
• Detail orientated and highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities 
• Degree qualified
