LOCATION: New York, NY (SOHO- In Office 5 days)
HOURS: 8am- 5/5:30pm + flexibility
COMPENSATION: Up to $95 DOE* + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

Our client, an investment advisory firm, is seeking to hire a Junior Research Coordinator to work closely with the Research Coordinators, providing administrative and operational support to the Investment Research team. The ideal candidate is an intrinsically motivated team player who sets high expectations for themselves and has a positive mindset and passion for organization. Responsibilities of the Junior Research Coordinator:
- Manage and maintain company watchlists and coordinate Outlook calendars for earnings call invites by monitoring and updating call details across distribution lists
- Schedule, transcribe, and organize internal team meetings, not limited to taking detailed notes, compiling meeting materials/agendas, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Provide day-to-day administrative and calendar support to Portfolio Manager and Research Analysts
- Audit, reconcile, and act as systems administrator for Tamale RMS
- Coordinate updates to the department roster and Research Handbook, and liaise with IT to maintain department email distribution lists
- Liaise between third-party vendors and investment analysts to request external research and models
- Training Library: Coordinate department trainings and maintain the training and teach-in library by scheduling related events, obtaining workflow approvals, distributing materials, and archiving presentations
- Plan department-wide engagement activities and/or off-site events, as needed
- Act as coverage support for administrative professionals across the department
Requirements of the Junior Research Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience (preferably with some exposure to financial services)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
- Demonstrated organizing, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude and approach to assignments, regardless of how big or small
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
