CLIENT: Our client is a disruptive tech platform in the residential real estate industry.

ROLE: Our client is seeking a Manager of Strategic Finance. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the VP of Strategic Finance. This individual will be responsible for providing robust financial analysis, developing and maintaining financial models, creating and delivering presentations, and supporting investor relations activities. The role requires a blend of corporate finance expertise, data analysis skills, and the ability to think strategically and work effectively under tight deadlines. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with executive management, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders.

LOCATON: Remote, East Coast Time Zone preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
  • Assist in preparing investor presentations, earnings releases, and other communication materials for investors, analysts, and the board of directors.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to executive leadership. Create high-quality presentations for internal and external audiences, ensuring clear and compelling communication of key financial metrics and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Work closely with other departments, including accounting, operations, R&D, and legal, to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies.
  • Manage logistics and administrative tasks related to Investor Relations activities, including scheduling investor meetings, coordinating calls, and organizing other IR-related events.
  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all deliverables.
  • Assist in preparing materials and reports for board meetings, including financial performance summaries and strategic updates.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or FP&A at a public company.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, PowerPoint and Excel; experience with financial reporting software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling presentations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Deep interest in financial markets and staying up-to-date with market trends.

COMPENSATION:

  • Base salary range of $150-175k.
