Our client, a consumer products company based in Westchester, NY is seeking a People Operations Manager to support their mid size office.  This role will be reporting into the CFO and is a great opportunity for a candidate to get involved in a variety of HR and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily operations of the Human Resources Department
  • Maintain office supplies and orders supplies as needed
  • Assist with the full recruitment cycle and on-boarding activities, including recruitment tracking and reporting
  • Utilizes ADP Totalsource PEO platform to set up biweekly payroll and assist in benefits administration
  • Manages on-boarding and termination cycles for employees
  • Review and maintain employee files in the PEO system
  • Posting new positions on the recruiting website, and screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for open positions
  • Scheduling interviews and sending rejection letters as needed.
  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Ensure confidentiality with employment records and information.
  • Maintain and update employee data, documents, and records.
  • Complete HR projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of previous experience working in human resources
  • Experience with ADP Totalsource PEO
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and payroll administration
  • The ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field preferred
